NADD In cooperation with Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service Fordham University at Lincoln Center Presenter Bios:Susan Chinitz, PsyD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of the Early Childhood Center at the Rose F. Kennedy Centers Childrens Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center. John Pomeroy, MD, is a child psychiatrist who received his training at the Universities of London and Iowa. For over 25 years he has been actively engaged in clinical service, education and training, and research in Autism Spectrum Disorders and the mental health needs of individuals of all ages with intellectual disabilities. He is a member of the consortium that created the Downstate Center for Dual Diagnosis and the Founding Director of the Matt & Debra Cody Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Stony Brook University Medical Center where he is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. Ronnie Gorman Swift, MD, is a Professor and Associate Chairman of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at New York Medical College and a Professor of Clinical Public Health in the School of Public Health at New York Medical College. In addition, she is the Network Chief of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health for Generations Northern Manhattan Health Network as well as the Chief of Psychiatry and Associate Medical Director for Metropolitan Hospital and the Interim Chief of Psychiatry for Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. Angela Mora-Vargas LMSW, serves as Director for the Coordinated Childrens Services Initiative. In her work with CCSI, she has been able to service families and collaborate with other systems and community-based organizations as a Care Coordinator, a Borough Coordinator, and currently, as Director of this Initiative. Ms. Mora-Vargas understands the importance of cross-systems work and family-driven services and supports for children and youngsters with emotional or behavioral challenges. Scholarship InformationScholarships are available for families and consumers for conference registration fees. To apply for a scholarship, please submit your request in writing, stating your need, along with a completed registration form to NADD, 132 Fair Street, Kingston, NY 12401 or fax to (845) 331-4569. The request letter and registration form must be received together, no later than January 16, 2008. However we encourage you to submit as soon as possible. Notifi cation of scholarship approval will be sent out no later than January 22, 2008. Scholarships are made possible by funding from the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
